We’re looking for bold, up-and-coming directors to create original, cinematic content for our YouTube channel and indie film projects. If you have a strong visual voice and a passion for narrative or documentary storytelling, we want to hear from you.

We’re looking for a talented freelance director to craft bold, cinematic stories for our independent productions. If you have a strong visual voice, understand narrative and character, and can lead a project from prep through post, we’d love to hear from you.

The ideal candidate will bring originality, taste, and a deep love of indie cinema storytelling to every project, creating work that connects with audiences online while standing alongside festival-calibre films.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct indie-led projects for 369
  • Short-form pieces and scene work for YouTube
  • Excerpts, companion content, and original material tied to indie feature films and documentaries
  • Lead the creative execution from treatment to final cut, in collaboration with producers and editors
  • Work with talent, crew, and collaborators to achieve strong performances and clear visual storytelling
  • Shape the visual language, tone, and pacing of each project
  • Provide clear direction on set and in post to keep the project aligned with the creative vision

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience directing narrative or documentary work (shorts, scenes, spec pieces, or micro-budget projects all welcome)
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling, performance, and pacing
  • A reel or body of work that shows your voice, taste, and command of the medium
  • Comfort working within indie-style, resourceful production environments
  • Ability to collaborate, take feedback, and deliver on agreed timelines
